Good Monday Morning! New listings continue to rise across our ten towns, and this week we saw a huge 25% increase over last year! Total inventory remains up 22%, with only Rehoboth and Seekonk dipping from last year. Average days on market is up from 22 last year to roughly 26 through 6/25 and we're continuing to see slightly longer marketing times for most homes. Perhaps it's recurring heatwaves, but for the first time in three years, homes sold over asking was at only 40%...a stark contrast to the 50%+ that's been the norm during that time. We'll be keeping an eye on those numbers...will it become a trend? Price reductions were also up this week over last year, with 20+ per week becoming commonplace.
