Good Monday Morning!It was the third strong week in a row with 48 new listings hitting the market! Attleboro and Taunton each had 10, followed by Seekonk (7), Swansea (6) and Somerset (4). Of these 48 homes, 3 were under contract in less than seven days! These numbers are a pretty big deal for our area as they represent about a 50% increase in homes available for sale when compared to prior weeks and even months! In addition to increased inventory, there were 11 new price reductions for buyers to consider. If you’ve been looking in Attleboro (2), Berkley (1), Norton (3), Rehoboth (1), Somerset (3) or Taunton (1), these homes may be worth a second look. Call or text for a list of the most recent price reductions and to schedule your showings!Sellers are still seeing strong (over asking) offers, but how long will it last? With only a few weeks of increased supply, we’re not even close to meeting buyer demand, but at what point will that change? Without a crystal ball we really can’t know but we’ll continue to keep a close eye on closed sale prices to keep you informed. Of the 24 sales closed last week, 54% were over asking price anywhere between $2k and $75k and only 13% below list price.Want more information about your city or town?
